Day 2 - Portreath to Padstow

Another good day, and another 34 miles done.

Ran with David and Jamie all day, and had the support of pacer Polly & Mark for first 20k or so. Pacer Polly's support and knowledge sharing from 2023 has been invaluable.

Much cliff top running as well as ups and downs, were physically and mentally challenging.

Having been denied the opportunity to cross Hayle Estuary yesterday, with the RNLI not wanting us to feature in the next episode of "Saving Lives at Sea", today we did get to cross the River Gannel on the "bridge" which at the time was still below water level due to the tide - shoes & socks off boys!

2 days done and 70 miles in the bag.😎

Cliff top view just past Newquay.
